Ribble Statement on June Jobs Report

Jul 6, 2012 Issues: Jobs and the Economy

Appleton, WI— Representative Reid Ribble (WI-8) released the following statement on the Department of Labor’s June unemployment report.

“Today's employment numbers are very disappointing. It’s been three years and unemployment is still hovering around 8 percent and millions of Americans are struggling to find work. While politicians in the U.S. Senate act as if nothing can be done, the House has taken action. Members from both parties in the House have worked together to pass more than 30 pro-growth jobs bills that still await action in the U.S. Senate. Rather than working with House members, the Senate and President want to double down on rhetoric rather than passing responsible reforms to get our economy moving again.”
