Mar 6, 2012 Issues: Budget

Washington, D.C. – Representative Reid Ribble (WI-08) voted in favor of bipartisan legislation, H.R. 4105, that would protect American companies from unfair trade practices. Congressman Ribble was an original cosponsor of this bill, which passed the House today 370-39.

“Protecting businesses and manufacturers in northeast Wisconsin is one of my top priorities,” said Ribble. “This legislation will make sure that they are not cheated out of the marketplace by countries like China that violate trade laws. This law will stand up for American businesses and help force China to play by the rules.”

Provisions of Congressman Ribble’s bipartisan legislation, the CHEATS Act, were incorporated into H.R. 4105
